McDowell Mountain Race Loops - Me All Soaking Wet After My Ride
I am in Arizona visiting my family. Prior to today, the Phoenix valley of Arizona had experienced 143 days without rain. Today, it rained. . .and rained. . . and continues to rain. . .even more astounding, there is snow falling north of Phoenix and it is sticking to the ground.
I did not want to miss a day of riding, so when I awoke to rain falling this morning, I did not let it stop me. I went riding to the McDowell Mountain Race Loops. The dirt on the trail, when met with moisture, turns to clay -- nice, sticky clay. Good times.
